QR Notification Portal

The QR Notification Portal is an online platform that WTO Members can use to submit information about Quantitative Restrictions in force as required under the Decision on Notification Procedures for Quantitative Restrictions (G/L/59/Rev.1).

The QR Notification Portal is intended to assist Members in the following ways:

  • to streamline the notification process by (i) allowing different agencies to access the portal and contribute to draft notifications; (ii) consolidating the information in one place; and (iii) enabling one designated agency to submit notifications to the Secretariat;
  • to facilitate the collection and, eventually, the automatic dissemination of information from notifications into the QR database; and
  • to facilitate and improve the search of quantitative restriction measures through the QR database.
